Interconnect Testing with Boundary Scan

One of the major benefits claimed for the new technique of boundary scan in 1987 was the ability to do interconnect test on boards. This paper proposed the first boundary scan test generation algorithm, which covered stuck-faults, wired-or and wired-and nets and bridging faults. It also allowed fault diagnosis. The algorithm described here, with some modifications, is still in use today.
