ATPG for Ultra-Large Structured Designs

There were a series of ATPG papers in the 80's which introduced successive algorithmic improvements and new heuristics. This paper introduced a strong implementation of many of these ideas and more. It was the foundation of what was to become FastScan^TM and TetraMax^TM, arguably the dominant commercial tools for most of the years since. The presentation also claimed linear run time growth on practical circuits despite the known NP-complete nature of ATPG.
